Knight in the Bog
A knight took up arms against Stupidity, a monster no living soul could describe. Only its name and lair were known. Clad in heavy armour and with sword drawn, the knight waded through the morass. The nearer he came to the haunted place, the deeper his feet sank into the mire. Just before he vanished, the flummoxed knight was embraced by the bog.
The Encyclopaedia of Stupidity by Matthijs van Boxsel, 2003.
